Dennis and Edie Chappell have owned and managed Quik Auto Services at 61 Station Road in Wellsford since 2000.
Great service is a key to our business; we are a friendly, helpful team who enjoys our work.

We offer a full repair service as well as insurance work, WINZ quotes, and we offer an MTA repairer warranty on our work. We have a great workshop and plenty of parking for customers.
We offer a full range of mechanical repairs from your Warrant of Fitness (including motorbikes and tractors) through to full engine replacements, and an Auto Air Conditioning service for cars, trucks, tractors and machinery.
At Quik Auto Services we believe in investing in the latest technology. We continually quality test our equipment, updating and replacing it as needed.
Dennis originally served his time as an apprentice mechanic before managing a rural workshop. Over the years he has gained considerable experience working on a wide range of vehicles (cars, trucks and buses), as well as outboard and marine engines. He is also a qualified auto air conditioning technician.
Edie’s background in human relationships from preschool to mental health gave her a wide focus on customer service. She has gained her MITO first line management certificate, which was focused on the automotive industry.

We knew right away that Quik Auto Services was the right business for us. Since 2000 we have built it up from a one-person workshop to the large, well staffed business it is today.
Near the end of 2008 we joined the Automotive Solutions group of repairers. As business owners we felt we needed a support network and a general connection with people in a similar situation and with similar ideas about operating a professionally run, quality automotive repair business.

The Quik Auto Services team is experienced, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and qualified. Ongoing staff training is essential due to the continually changing technology of vehicles. All our staff are trained in their areas of expertise.


“We have a large customer base and a lot of our new business is thanks to the recommendations of our existing customers,” says Edie.
