Robert and Megan Scott are the owners of Kawakawa Auto Services, located in the middle of the bustling Northland town of Kawakawa.
With a proud history that culminated this year when the firm was named Auto Electrical Business of the Year, Robert and his team have been providing outstanding automotive services to the people of Kawakawa for more than 20 years.

A member of the Automotive Solutions Group and the Motor Transport Association, Kawakawa Auto Services is the company to trust for all your mechanical needs.
It not only offers high quality car repairs and automotive servicing, but also a full range of services including warrants of fitness, LPG certificates, vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs, emission testing and fuel injection. It also specialises in engine management.
Kawakawa Auto Services carries out a comprehensive range of maintenance, repairs and inspections and will keep you up to date with your vehicle's servicing needs.
Robert and Megan put people first and take pride in providing a professional service to their customers.
Robert started the business in 1988 when he was a one-man band operating behind a service station.
Within three years he had built a reputation for prompt and reliable service, and had so much work he was able to employ another two technicians.
The fast-growing business soon prompted a shift to the existing site on Gillies St and in 2001 Robert called in the builders to extend the premises.

Today Kawakawa Auto Services employs four technicians and an office manager.
Cars and keeping them performing at their peak has been Robert's passion since he was very young. He left school to start a mechanical apprenticeship and has been passionate about upgrading his skills ever since, qualifying as an A-grade mechanic as well as taking every opportunity to complete numerous training modules.
In 2005 Robert was invited to join the Automotive Solutions Group. He was keen to be involved with what he says is a group of like-minded people who share his passion for quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
He also valued the opportunity to recommend other workshops for customers without hesitation because of the high standard and consistency of their workmanship.
Robert and his team were rewarded for their exceptional abilities this year when Kawakawa Auto Services was named Auto Electrical Business of the Year.
