Robert and Sharynne Le Brun are the owners of three Automotive Solutions branches in Dunedin.
All three branches offer a high quality specialist service for all your automotive needs, plus you have the additional guarantee of knowing that – as a member of the Automotive Solutions group – our work is to exceptional standards.
Our wide range of vehicle services include Warrants of Fitness (WOF), lubes and servicing, brake and clutch, exhaust - new systems and repairs, mufflers, electronic diagnostics, tyre sales and repair, transmission flushing and servicing, tune-ups, pre-purchase inspections, engine steam cleaning, brake fluid replacements, antifreeze services, wheel alignments, and a whole lot more.
Joining the Automotive Solutions Group
Robert has had an interest in all things mechanical since he was 13, and rebuilt his first engine while still at school. He started in the automotive industry as an apprentice mechanic in 1977, working with all types of machines from lawnmowers to harvesting equipment.
Having owned and managed petrol stations and automotive repair workshops for the past 21 years, Robert has been focusing solely on his three automotive workshops since 2004 – the year he also joined Automotive Solutions.
The newest workshop, Automotive Solutions Vogel Street, proudly features the latest exhaust technology and the most qualified exhaust technicians in the South Island.
Robert enjoys being a part of the nationally recognised Automotive Solutions group, which gives him and his team a huge resource of technical information, support, and business motivation. Because the process to join this highly regarded nationwide support network is very vigorous, it vouches for the credibility of our workshops.
In his spare time, Robert enjoys heading outdoors, travelling, off-road motorcycling, and spending time with his family. He is married to Sharynne and they have three children.
The Team
We have five technicians at Anzac Avenue, two at Vogel St and two at Maori Hill. All of our technicians are passionate about the automotive industry and are experts in their field.
Anzac Avenue is an AA approved repairer, Maori Hill has two A-Grade mechanics, and Vogel Street specialises in exhaust repairs and manufacturing. All sites are AA Battery Centres.
